BIOGRAPHY
Born in Mauritius Island on the 19th of May 1999, Ilario Visconti Armel (Ila Rio) since his young age is passionate by many instruments like drum, guitar and bass.
Since 3 years old, he started to play drum and fell in love with this instrument, by the age of 8 he joined the ‘ François Mitterrand Conservatory ‘ until he turned 14 years old.
After receiving a distinction in 2013 by the Royal School of Music, Ila Rio needed to stop his training for a while as he fell seriously ill, but after his recovery returned in 2015.
Following those events, Ila Rio started to play guitar, bass to inevitably started singing,
His Styles now varies from Reggae, Pop, dancehall, club-house and EDM; Styles that he remixes to his sauce to keep his Mauritian authenticity.

Until now, Ila Rio has released : Viv To Lavi (2018) | Liberte ( 2019 ) which is his first album, also an EP ‘ Zetwal’ in 2021,
Aiming to collaborate with other artists to experience new genre and styles, his future aim is to expand his knowledge in his art and share his music to the world.
