Ever since his teenage years, Adil Baguant was inspired by several moments where music entered his life. From his dad playing the ravane around a bonfire to his dj friends; music came part of his life. In 2010 his Dj journey began under the name of DJ XML with “commercial music with a touch of Latin.”
Over years, the journey transformed into a more underground world with techno and psytrance, right after spending 3 years in France. In 2016 Square Root of A was born. Influenced by local and international techno artists, Adil focused more on psychedelic music starting with psytech and then progressive psytrance.
After playing in several private parties in the wild parts of Mauritius Island, he decided to create two stage names focused on two different music genres. Square Root of A for Techno and The Brahmin for psytrance in its globality. The first for pure dancing experience and the other for a more spiritual one.
